In order to visit the Lake of Coveta we will
have to surround the Black Lake by the north and cross the
dock of launching slips towards the west, as well as a water torrent that comes from the Lakes Trullo and Tort.
More ahead we will find a road that sign towards the Port of Monestero and the Mountains of Saburó.
We will find a depression that we descend towards the west, until arriving to the most southern end of the
Lake of Coveta. We will advance towards south and turning to the left on a footpath well signaled that will
guide us on the right shore of the Lake of the Llastra, a bit further down.
We will leave the lake at our left and we will cross a brook.
The vegetation changes and begin to appear granitic rocks, from now on we
will have to be watchfull to the boundary-stones that will be aligned in west direction and will guide us to the small

Lake Cubeto (2518 m), at 50 minutes and about 2600m from route. This lake is the entrance of the glacial circus
that retains waters of the Lake of Cap de Port.
The footpath surrounds the lake and it is lined up to the Mountains of Saburó (2669 ms), after 1h and 15 min. We
will be able to see, to the south, the section of the rocky Tips of the Mainera.
This lake has great dimensions and occupies a great part of the territory. The footpath surrounds the lake, we will let
it on our right hand, so we will be able to take another track following west direction that we will find in the middle of
the route of the lake.
The way has disappeared and will be difficult to find boundary-stones during our ascent. Once we raised the first part
of the hill, we will find a boundary-stone that announces that we are near the end.
From the Hill of Saburó we can descry the
Refuge of Colomina near the lacustrine area of Cabdella to the southwest.
One of the options is to return to the main way and finish the day visiting this refuge, the way follows on a
signalized footpath.
It is necessary to go to the Mountains of Saburó, at 25 minutes of distance, and to look for the best passage at
the right of the foot of the mountain.

We will see a zone with few grass, at the limit of the upper level of the volume of the Lake of Saburó.
Sometimes we almost not find the footpath and we will have to pay attention to the white and red marks of the GR-11.20 that
goes near the Passage de l'Ós (Passage of the Bear) at 1h 35min and 4.70km of distance.
We will go down on a strong slope until we find a little path that surrounds the north of the Lake of Mar (Lake of the
Sea). The refuge can be observed in the distance on the top of the Lake of Colomina. The way continues bordering
the north part of this lake.
After 2 hours and at 6.7 km away from the Refuge J.M. Blanc, we will arrive to the
Refuge of Colomina, a prepared wood installation to lodge hikers.
